Well… after a weeks worth of problems, I’ve decided that Firefox 2 just isn’t for me. After numerous little differences in program operation causing me problems, I’ve finally had a bug that I just couldn’t shake. It seems that the new firefox has an issue with shutting down properly. Because of this, when I go to hibernate, standby, or shutdown the computer it hangs with an XPCOM error. This is simply unacceptable. Because I’m on a laptop I hibernate or standby quite often. Having these little issues plague me for a week was more than enough.
