Corridor 9

Well… I mentioned that I was getting hitched again soon, and as I was hoping, there were a few comments on what I was talking about.

First the back story. A friend of mine sold his 2000 Grand Cherokee, the same kind that I have. I asked him at the time that if he stripped his hitch off jeep. I think I made him feel a bit bad about it since he knew I was looking for one. I did some checking and found out the cost of a new hitch was going to be a total around $450. There was no way I was going to be able to afford that right now.

So anyways, my friend calls me a few days ago and says he’s at a pull-a-part junk yard. He found a hitch that fits our jeep and asked me if I wanted him to try and get it for me. Naturally I agreed and told him I’d cover the cost later. I wasn’t sure if he would be able to get the wiring harness out, but he was able to remove both pieces.

And the best part….. he only paid $10.95 for the entire package!!!!!! I still need to buy a $50 part for the bumper, but in all he’s saved me over $400.
