And time marches on
Today marks the beginning of the final 2 week countdown to the GSMNP trip.
I was finally able to contact the ranger station today to make campsite reservations, but after looking at the distances again I’m a bit worried that we are indeed pushing ourselves. I am going to consider alternative camping sites later on today just in case we need, or want, to change our itinerary to make the trip more enjoyable. I’m don’t think that it will be an issue, but after looking at the extra weight I’m carrying around in my spare tire region, I figure its better to be safe than sorry.
Yesterday I received my Sierra Pacific hiking pants from Ebay. I was a bit displeased with the fit of them, but I think this may simply be due to the design. I should be receiving my Columbia GRT pants sometime today. I’m hoping they fit better.
